Animals

It's All Good

Animals by Miike Snow

Recommended by Katie S.

I don't get what he means about, like, changing shapes but still being an animal. But it's fine. Apparently the song deals with "addiction, basic instincts or dissatisfaction when one's needs are not met by society," but lead singer Andrew Wyatt calls the lyrics "ambiguous" anyway (x).

We're more here for the "horns and staccato synthesizers" and "catchines and pop sound" (x).

The reviews for this song on the wikipedia page are killing me. The song achieved widespread critical acclaim, and there are some nice things said. But also, apparently, someone said you'd like this song if you enjoy Toxic by Brittany Spears. Which...what?

Anyway, enjoy.

P.S. Apparently it's based on an old reaggae song by an unknown artist, but I couldn't find anything about that other than what's said on the wiki.

Overview:

Genre:

Favorite Lyrics:
