Same Message As the Lizzie McGuire Theme
Who Knows by BEGINNERS
"It only has 60,000 views on YouTube but it was featured in New Girl this season. The entire EP is well worth a glance-over at least."
Sorry it took me so long to get to this...the video now has 137,122 views on YouTube. I believe you, though. All the comments are like, "How does this have so few views?" and "New Girl brought me here!"
It's actually a very tame comments section for YouTube.
I dig the chill vibe of this song. It's happy and free, and it matches the "go with the flow" message of the lyrics.
All that we do is figure it out as we go.
I'm glad it looks on the bright side of uncertainty.
The lyrics touch on both the positives and the negatives that might be in our future, but then brushes off the less favorable possibilities. It doesn't dwell on the idea of falling apart or losing it all because, well, why worry about an unknown future that you can't change?
In that respect, uncertainty is a positive.
Even if you don't subscribe to the idea that we're all just sailing through life, blown about by the winds of fate, the song will make you feel better about everything just because it's so darn cute.
I love those light, high-pitched, sparkly wind-chime-sounding things during the verses, and then the chorus is super catchy. And those ooohs? Come on.
Don't fight it.

We could both be stars, yeah who knows?
All the things we think that we need to be...
